Can't decide on a pin

I got a "starter pin" in the spring and fell in love with the sport. I would love to get a kingpin. I have my eye on a series 1 and sterling. The seris 1 is 4 7/8" spool and the sterling is 4.5. The price diff is only $40. I kinda like the sterling being that is red. Other then that the two look the same. Any input?

only input i can give is you cant go wrong with a kingpin. sounds like a personal preference issue bud. gonna have to just hold them both and decide

if anything the larger spool will help if you get into something bigger then normal

Both are great deals on great reels. The sterling is a limited run and therefore might hold it's value better. You can't go wrong with either reel.
