Christmas Carp! One of the weirdest things I have heard of. They buy the Carp live and keep it fresh in their bath tub until Christmas Eve.

From what I understand the reason (or one of) for that is to help clean it. You don't feed it either (so it doesn't do its business in there), and then the clean water cycles through it (cleaning the veins and such).

If I'm not mistaken that is, and yea it does sound weird on the surface, but usually there's a reason when something is done. :razz:
