If you carry single piece rods (more than 5') on public transit, how do you carry it? Other than the obvious "very carefully".
use any rod bags/socks? tubes? or just carry it on your hand as it is?

I always use a rod bag but I stopped taking my 13' 2pc rod on public transit after someone reached for it thinking it was a hand rail. Lol I bought a 13' 3pc for when I take public transit.

As I am a morning person, I usually get on the bus early. 5.48 yesterday.
But I get on a forward facing seat and put my rod to the protected side. Normally my right. I sit on the aisle.

Alfie.

Yah normally in morning I put my 7 6 one peice Berkeley anywhere in the bus no one on but coming home I'll Stand in the back by the door and rest rod paralell with a pole .. Works for me
