Hi all.

I been thinking about getting this watch for a long time now. Most of the reviews on BP are good except for the band witch breaks alot and no replacement available but I'll McGiver something if that ever happened.

My question is does it work for fishing? Can it tell you fishing is going to be 2 or 3 days ahead so you can plan to go or does it only tell you that now the fish should be biting? With this one you have to manually enter a long and lat to be more accurate.

There is also this product from BP, it's a fishing barometer. The reviews are mixed and the site is not working for me to read the reviews. Here is the link.

Here is the one I normally carry with me, it's from CT but it only tells you the barometer and upcoming weather pattern. The problem with it is that it loves batteries. One CR2532, I think, won't last long in it. Just searched and seems they don't carry it anymore.

What are your opinion(s) on this stuff. Am I better to save my $ for the dollar store lures?......lol.

The same info with far more detail is available on the internet for free. There are also tons of apps for android and iPhones if you have one. Just curious why you want a watch for it?

I don't have a smartphone, and if I'm camping or out on a lake I won't have my pc with internet access. So thought a watch might be the best alternative. I have not found too many free sites with the info. The program I use is Moonphase 3.3 it's ok, it won't break the day down to best time for fishing but I assume that the moon set, transit and rise would be the peak periods.
