Yeah I think theyre illegal, unless if you meant those smaller baitfish catching nets, which you do throw into the water, not sure if these are illegal, tho it would be good to find out before use !
You can't fish for anything in ontario with cast nets. Unless your Native Indian. for minnows and other stuff, I believe you have to use the minnow traps and I think dip nets.
