Hi, I'm in Mississauga for the weekend and I'm hoping to catch some fish. I've been down to Port Credit, but all I got were gobies (stupid, dirty, foul, rotten gobies!!!). I'm hoping to catch one of the nice big catfish I saw just up from the bridge, but I don't have a whole lot of experience catching them. The only one I've ever caught was accidentally on a red devil in the Speed River, which doesn't really seem like the right way to go about it. Any other fish that are hanging around there would be good too, if anyone knows whats biting. Any advice would be fantastic (baits, rigs, techniques, spots, time of day, anything)!

try fresh water shrimps for them ,,,believe me you will pray for me ,,,last year I caught Tons :)

Fresh water shrimps for bait? Where do you get that from? For bullheads worms but the gobies would take it first. Would pork or chicken liver work better or worse then doughballs.

Use worms on sliding sinker rig in any river. Catfish are fun to catch and pretty easy.
Good luck,

Cat
