I tried scowering the search function but I couldn't find anything in regards to cleaning waders and boots after use..

Any suggestions?

Paul, get the nix wax tech wash and tx wash in for waterproofing. step 1. use the nix wax tech wash with your waders in the machine washer on delicate cycle and cold water. step 2. wash in gentle with cold water again with the tx wash, this is the waterproofing stuff that makes the rain water bead off your waders. step 3. put your waders in the dryer in low setting for about 20 mins to let the heat penetrate the waders so the tx wash in does its course, it will still be a bit damp in the neo. booties, but you dont want to fully dry it in the dryer. step 4 . take them out and hang dry for the remaining time.

Step 1: follow manufacturer recommended method of cleaning those Waders.
Step 2: referred to step 1. :)

As for boots? I spray them down when I get home. Not much to clean really. They look all shiny and new after the heavy soaking they get post fishing day.

Not sure what the new simms say on the care patch, but my old G3 waders says to wash in cold water in the tub, tbh that's a lot of work, I just toss it in the front loader on gentle cycle its pretty much the same as handwashing them. The care label also doesn't state to use reviv X or nix wax wash in to restore the gortex to bead water off.

Mine says powdered detergent... I havnt used that stuff in years since we got the front loading washer

yeah so does mine. but I use nik wax tech wash, its made for goretex, powdered detergent might leave residue. So if you go powder rinse it really well.

Paul, thats the stuff I use, its a lighter detergent meant for breathable garmets, been using it on my 8 year old g3s and my mountin co-op gortex jacket that I owned for over 10 years without any issues. if your going to use powder detergent i would dilute it well in some water first then mix it up with the waders in the tub or sink.
