Hey folks. Just wanted to take a moment and talk about a really cool event that happens each year for College and High school anglers. If you are in either or and want to participate in a tournament, this is the event for you. It is a great way to get exposure, meet new anglers and to gain a lot of experience from others. I will be fishing the event 100 percent this year as I did last year.

All the information is located on the website. You do not have to own a boat to fish. The Canadian Collegiate Bass Angler's have some dedicated volunteers who come out and donate their time to drive 2 students out on the water and fish the event

Also, if you are a boat owner who would like to donate time and receive gas money for your time on the water with the students, this is a great way to learn about Georgian Bay waters and see first hand the amazing fishery that it is!

There are so many outlets for adults to participate in tournament angling if you are not a boat owner. But this is our only chance to really compete with a younger crowd. In addition to being a big event here, the winners get sent to fish a major FLW Collegiate event in Pickwick Alabama.
