Comparing boats??

Oy so im looking at buying a new boat and it is kinda overwhelming.
Looking for any general comparison info between Legend, G3, Mirrocraft, Princecraft.
Im looking at 16-18ft dual sports.
Legends seem to be about the best bang for the buck

Any experiences that might sway me in one direction or another??

Is a 0.080 hull vs a 0.100 hull gonna matter at all?
Wider beam more stable i take it??

If I had the choice I'd go for the thicker hull. The thicker hull wouldn't flex as much so the rivets holding the boat should last longer, IMO.

Well Lunds n Legends are guaranteed for life. (I believe theyre welded)
Smokercraft is 6yrs warranty.

Anyone I've ever known that had a legend has sold it to upgrade to a better boat. My buddy has a mirrocraft, and it's been a great boat. Princecrafts are pretty solid also.

I own a princecraft and it's a 2004 and it runs smoooooth handles big water and I am able to fish really shallow. I couldn't be happier with a deep v boat.

Two years ago I was in the market for a new aluminum boat and looked at every brand out there. I ended up going with Princecraft and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Some were too expensive (felt like you were paying more for just the brand name) and some felt cheap and poorly build. Princecraft is very solid and the deep V can handle big water. All around its a great boat for any kind of fishing. I got the bow rider package for cruising and lounging. My only gripe with Princecraft is the lack of storage it has compared to some other brands. I still managed to find a place to store everything so its not really a big deal.

I have a Sylvan Explorer and I love it. I looked at the legend boats and I passed........seemed flimsy compared to other boats in the market
