Nado that's not a rubber net, if you look on Frabill's site the ones with a rubber mesh will actually say rubber, the net you're showing is a tangle free micro mesh, the reviews are pretty good but people seem to have a hard time getting the hooks out of that type mesh.....just a heads up :)

Probably want this one...

Yeah it's like a coated nylon net. Still fairly soft, but not nearly as smooth as rubber. Much better than the traditional crap nylon ones with huge holes in them.

hmmm this almost needs its own thread lol.

I liked the one I posted because it was deep so landing bigger trout wont be a problem and also that it was folding. I should be able to fit it into my backpack hanging out at the top. I did see the reviews where users were having problems with their hooks getting stuck in the net but I was thinking that with the single hooks I use with small barbs I wouldnt likely run into that issue.

I didnt realize that it wasnt rubber though. If it is still good for the fish I would like to go with that one since it is deep and folding and ill just deal with the hook issue. If its that bad I should be able to replace the mesh with a rubber mesh down the road right?

Here is the net that inspired me this weekend. Great net but I would like one that is a bit deeper as the tanks are hard to squeeze in there lol.
