i was just making sure cause i bought a bunch of them some have weight---some fell like they will float....

I used to tie flies with lead in the body (weighted flies) that's so if I needed the fly to sink faster, or for faster current rivers. Craws should be good for SM. River, dam bottom smallies, the fast current turns them into powerful swimmers and fighters. The biggest problem is finding a fast flowing river with smallies in it.......lol. Even bows in the spring will hit them if they are small enough. You're gonna have a blast with those craws.

I know a river with fast flows and killer smallies! The annual derby sees fish brought in around the 20" mark. The river also has stocked browns.
