Was about to call it a day (Sure got nice in early afternoon) ... decided to try something new:

WHAM! landed a nice 10-11 lb Bow. He hit like a Brick.

About 15 minutes later ... Another one.

15 more minutes and (You guessed it) .... ONE MORE!

I'm curious, what was the new thing you tried?

I was heading out but late night Saturday. Did not get up till 8..... Must have been cold with the wind.

Looks pike a casting spoon to me. Must have a lot of room to use the spoons.

Good on you for getting out on a such a cold morning...and using the TTC to boot!
Nice fish... they don't look 10-11lbs though.
But weight is not what it's about with steelheading. It's all about getting out there and enjoying the river.
