Aliens have abducted all the STEELIES from the Credit.
Dont know why or what they are using them for .... but I want them back!

Look, I have hard evidence:

Was 100% for 8-9 times out BEFORE Dec 13, Since then I have gone 0 for 6 including yesterday.

The chute was high and fast.
Mega - Ice Jam formed at the Dam.
98% Open and semi-clear water.... levels up....

WHERE have all the Chromies gone ... (Van Halen playing in background as you read)


WRITE your local MIB and lets get the CHROME back in the RIVER.

Beware of false immpersonators: All HUMANS that were down to the Credit will concur, all OTHERS must either be alien or assisting them.

I dont think there gone, I went once during october during the end of the salmon run and I got this nice 6-8 pound bow and this guy there got a one pounder. I will add a pic once my friend gets the pictures off his phone. :mrgreen:

I think I have to agree with Blair on this one but I'm not sure about the alien side, I think it's due to the "harsh" winter we've been experinceing here in the donut hole of southern Ontario....lol.

they are not gone its just tough to fish in these conditions. right now is probably the toughest time to catch them, water is always changing, ice melting then ice forming. but if u nail the perfect day there is still some fish to be cought last week just before all the ice melted away my buddy nailed 2. we went back the next day and everything was melted. u'll catch more u just gotta nail the perfect day

The cold water slows them down and they do not hit as aggressively. I know you don't fish with floats but try one and slow the float & bait down taunt the fish a little with some slow moving roe. Works for me when winter hits!!! Worked today

How true it is with slowing down your presentation, steelhead in these conditions are like zoned out morphine addicts when your bait passes em. I had some luck on Tuesday with that method, except it was the pinker that helped me out that day.

But i most certainly agree with Blair's alien conspiracy, except the only differing fact from my end is the alien's I'm talking about are the illegal fishers with no license, taking home multiple fish in the warmer weather's kinda makes me hurt on the inside. These fish are way too amazing to keep taking them all the time, just for the reason of compensating for a small penis. This is my philosophy, once in a while, for sure, every couple of weeks, that's cool, multiple fish a week, go $%&@ yourself and visit a grocery store.
