The water's a bit murky, but it's clearing up so the fishing's gonna be good for the next few days.

Right now the fish are focusing on spawning in the shallow riffles if you wanna still catch salmon.

Today I got to meet a snagger, the guy looked pretty nervous and left quick lol. A salmon took my last float so I had to ask a nice fella to spare me one. In return I let him fish the spot I was at while I was fishing from the other side  We pretty much nailed every fish in that section, but when I tried taking a picture of the fish there was no battery in the camera

Thats pretty much it, peace...

since I was 13, but things have been picking up lately. Especially with that brown trout I caught. It's nice catching for a change. I hate sounding professional though.

Peace

Hey mang, at humber there was a pool I had to myself 100 m from the closest person with 4 salmon just sitting there, took like 100 drifts to finally get one. Then some random guy with a centre pin started wading in my pool and I didn't see them since. I was mad, but then went upstream and on my first cast had another.

hey, I don't know a lot of spots on the humber and i'm looking to go somewhere new tomorrow so any help on spots there is appreciated.

I was there today around 2:30 to 6:00 and got Pepe Lepew'ed! I started off just south of Burnamthorpe and worked up north of the bridge. I ended up staking out there for a bit. Saw other people catch and a few swim up. Where were you Pedro?

I was out today at Wilmot .... found a few great holes, probably saw 15 fish.
I'm all by my lonesome, go to rig my rod, and sure enough I left my roe in the fridge. Fack! They weren't hitting on my spinner or gulp minnow.
I'll be back.

The water is freezing there too. Should I have been in another spot? I haven't been to Wilmot lately, perhaps tomorrow.

Hey guys..completely brand new to the board here but I'm liking what i see..it's also good to have enthusiast's who can fish together instead of giving each other the shifty eye for getting close to your spot..but pedro..had a question for ya..are they bitting on roe only?.. I've tried a bunch of flies but to no luck..haven't tried the credit yet..just been to the humber so far with empty hooks..although the fish are so close to me, i can literally see the salmon's eye's look at my fly as it drifts past..not cool..not cool haha..

hey! Steelhead aren't too picky, but personally I like using roe because thats what they feed on and the scent really gets them to bite. Gulp Minnows have a good reputation too as a drift bait. The admin was nailing them like crazy at the Ganaraska using gulp minnows while others weren't getting bites on roe! If I knew more about steelhead I would help you cause I don't mind sharing info!

You can meet up with Ronald (ex0or) and I if you ever want to try the Credit River. We already did all the hard work finding spots :D Ronald got 7 steelhead yesterday! So I guess it's going to be on fire this week!

P.S Don't worry about salmon, only half the salmon I catch bit my bait 8) hahahahahahahaha

slow day today pedro we went to that whole only to find out all the fish moved up. Me and kabes saw about 10 swimming in a shallow water but they werent biting just swimming up. Need more rain.

How do you access these points? walking along the trail in Eindale park?p.s. it's a good distance to walk

i think you can fish all the way up to the 403 or eglington. dont remember just look it up in the regs

never fished past burnhamthrope.

those spots roska seem like good spots. but looking at and being in it are different

you can walk all the way to the bridge
but, if you wading can cross the river better chance to cast the spots.
