Hey guys I am new to the forum and it seems like a nice place to get some advice. I was fishing in the credit river for the first time last week. Actually twice last week, both times I went out and came back skunked, well I did catch a cold. Im not sure if I was fishing the wrong parts of the river, or during the wrong time. As you know last week the water levels were pretty high and the water was pretty murky(Is it best to go out a few days after the levels were high, or are fast murky waters better). Im trying to find information online but Im having trouble coming up with anything solid. Im not looking for specific fishing spots, I kind of like exploring the river. Though I don't want to waste my time , if I should just wait until next season and fish the upper credit when it opens up.

thanks in advance

weather conditions and water temp will play a big part in how fish react, when the weather changes for the worse (storm or dark clouds start to roll in) i find in most cases the fish just shut down. i've found my best days on the rivers tend to be when we have partly cloudy and the sun can hit the water every now and again, a 1 degree rise in water is all it takes sometimes to get the fish to bite
