11ft switch 8wt and 10 foot 8wt single handed--when to use? what applications would I choose one over the other?

The switch rod is pretty much a perfect dedicated steelhead, Atlantic salmon rod. Works great with indicator rigs, traditional lines and shooting heads. The 10 footer is also a very good steelhead/salmon rod but is a bit more versatile With it you have a pretty good salt water rod, pike and even an OK bass rod if you throw a lot of big surface patterns.

perfect---so really I can use both but mending and indicators better on switch and the old one hander is great for larger flies and fish--awesome--
