Hi all,

I've been finding game fish for sale at certain Chinese supermarkets in the past few years. Species I saw are Northern Pike, Walleye, Crappie, Rockbass and Bluegills. I just saw a tank full of Rockbass last week and some were smaller than palm sized. Being a catch and release guy this naturally disgusted me. I called the OMNR every time I come across this but since these finds pops up time and time again I wonder if anyone else actually call and report. The kicker is, there's a sign on the tank that says "Wild Caught".

Has there been any action from MNR? I personally would report that but have not come across it yet.

hey where did u see this?
I live very close to one of these markets I would definitely report this when i encounter it

I actually went to the store near me and I saw that they had white bass and what seemed to be sheepshead. I dont know if those fish are legally allowed to be in these kinds of stores. Anyone wanna fill me in?

Why should it be illigal? As long as it is not caught by holders of Sportfishing licence, it should be OK.
