DIY minnow trap

Has anyone made any homemade minnow traps? And if so do you like them better then the average store bought steel ones?

used both. homemade ones can be customized to have different shape, but dont tend last as long.
store bought ones are more durable, and unless you want a special shape to fit your needs, they tend to be better.

Iv used both 2 piece stainless steel store bought ones ($15?) and homemade (plastic bottle and wooden ones). Both work good.
