I have used gulp bait and they work...I caught pike on them under a bobber. I don't like jigs because I don't like leaders. if you're using jigs, make sure you have a trailer. senko worm works on pike as well...make sure to have a polarized sunglasses...pike like to follow and inspect...sometimes a twitch could trigger a bite, sometimes it could spook the fish...but without glasses you can barely see if there's something watching your lure/bait...next time you fish, take a look 3 ft from your lure or bait...sometimes they're just there....lucario said:nOT REALLY for example i could never get a pike to bite a sqaurbill , jig ,rockbass and any gulp bait they dont work
