Dog's Hair Special - The Brown destroyer

So I went out on the water yesterday with my personally tied "Dog's hair special" fly. Lately this fly has been killing it. Brooks and Browns love this thing. I had about 40-50 takes yesterday and I landed about 10 fish (oh trust me, I know that is a bad ratio hahahahahaha).

They nailed the "Dog's hair special" so hard that by the end of the day, the custom fly was done for. I am going to have to tie a more "industrial" version.

Its always awesome when you catch a fish on some frankenstein fly you've tied. Best reward ever. So many times i take a fly off the vise and think to myself "what fish in their right mind is going to take this" and low and behold it works!

Sweet pics gba and I've tied flies with dog and cat home fur from my ex,s rabbits dryer lint it actually works really well as dubbing lol
