DropShot Spinning Rod 100$ Or Less

Fenwick HMX 7", just picked one up think it's medium/extrafast tip.

Not sure if it's the traditional dropshot rod but it's been great to me for dropshotting. Has the exposure rod black at handle as well.

A rod you may want to try if you are looking down the line, the Bass Pro Shop CARBONLITE. You can even get the johnny morris edition ones. Great rods. Use them for everything. I own 4 right now, 2 baitcast 2 spinning

Those look nice! Might make a good first baitcasting rod.

FishingNoob they are great rods and have amazing backbone. Also, BPS is having a sale on the Johnny Morris Spinning Reel. 20 bucks off from 99 bucks to 79 or from 79-59, dont remember. Either way the reels are amazing too. I WANT TO WARN PEOPLE NOW! A lot of people like to buy the Abu Garcia rods but their Veritas rod(white one) is a decent rod and looks great for a 2piece rod BUT they break way too easy. I owned 1 then it broke off a hook set on a bass... I got the second one as a warranty return and it broke on me again fishing for bass in weedy areas. I went back to BPS and they offered a full refund but instead took a credit on the rod/warranty and got my first CARBONLITE. From then on it has been just an amazing rod. 1 other rod I recommend is the Mojo Bass by St.Croix.

It is a shame that 1 piece rods are such a hassle to have when you have a smaller car. Their backbone is a lot stronger from what I have experienced than a traditional 2 piece rod. That being said I have had some really nice 2 piece rods that have done their part to catch me massive pike or a bunch of pickerel.

Any Recommendations? Prefer a 2 piece Rod. THX! :D
Sorry Dopefish, I did not fully answer your questions as to a good 2 piece rod to look into. I kinda came in and voiced an opinion on certain products that you could look into. If you really want to get a 2 piece rod, the abu garcia veritas/vendetta are both rods in a price range for you. I recommend you go to bass pro shops and look at the rods yourself. Make sure you look into the BPS warranty. I have had 2 of the Veritas and both broke on me. Both on hook sets.

 I have a veritas, it was the rod, the guy at bass pro recommended... Haven't had a problem yet, though I don't use it for weeds areas, it mostly a crankbait/jerkbait/deep water jigging rod... and I don't catch quality fish like you! :D

I'll be sure to check out those rods, you mentioned in my next visit to the store.

I am always glad to hear when people are not having problems with their gear! I guess maybe I have had some bad luck! I will say though I have seen a lot of people return the veritas because of breaking constantly.

Ya, I've heard of others having their rod break too... You never know.
