LOL..cmon, you have never been fishing on your lake at 5:30am when the sun is just coming up and the lake is still as glass, my goodness that is such a magical time, you should give it a try!!

Hey never been to dunville to fish for cats how far from toronto (401&400) is the fishing location that everyone seem's to be taking about?

ummm...bout hr n 40 for you, for me, cominng from oakville, its bout hr, hr 10. depening on speed that is also of course,lol. that was the last place i had finshed in the last 7-9 years by the dam n what not, and its really quite something, its worth the drive, shoul;d check it out.

the only time i have been up before 5:30 is when i couldn't sleep due to cough, but i've seen what your talking about in the evening when the whole river is pink and orange, it's beautiful, especially if there is a pair of loons right beside your canoe :roll:

it takes me 1 hr to come back at nitght when no traffic, and about 1hr 20min "normal" :cry: driving from richmond hill. from doorstep to the river bank 135km.

thats not to bad at all. it ended up take us bout 45 mins with the way my buddy drives,lol.

no boat rentals in dunnville, just from shore at: fishmasters marina, byng island or port maitland pier.
