Hit up an east trib today for a few hours and fished a very popular pool by myself! Some of the best water I have seen all year high and green tint, can't beat it. Ended up going 4/6 with a bullet coho. 1/16 ounce jigs in black/purple and straight pink both with various beads on top in the 8mm and 10mm sizes

the ammount of coho's up is unbelievable i went 5 for 7 yesterday on a east trib! some of the fish had big kipes huge sensory organs on their nose and red stomach's with black bars, i would have swore they were from the west coast! to bad most of them have about 12 hours left before the weekend loogans hit the rivers.

I guess it could have been me "chasintails", I only saw two other guys all day but that's was only for about an hour when I first started drifting. Yeah I wouldn't even give them 12 hours. The trebles will probably be flying tonight...

no pics, fishing by myself and i dont really like handling some of the old kings for too long. Ill try and gets some pics tomorrow when i go out. If anyone wants to hit up some east with me and a couple of my buddies give me a pm

Went to an east trib Sat night, it was super quiet, only a handful of people there (which was nice), but seems like the salmon were also absent. I did get to try out a new spoon, Moonshine glow bloody nose....WOW!!!

Used my UV flash light and those things hold a glow for more than 8 casts!! I could see the glow from the spoon all the way out as I reeled it in!! Super impressed. Replaced the trebles with a Gamagatsu straight hooks as well.. Hopefully the salmon will be around next weekend, I wanna try these spoons again.

You use the uv light to "charge" the spoon with uv light. You arent actually using the light to lure the fish. atleast i think that is what you are getting at

never knew they're was such thing, thought you ment shining the light at your spoon in the water which ive seen done. have a link of the spoons?

it is illegal to use artificial light to attract fish except:

1. to fish for smelt, or to fish for lake whitefish or lake herring with
a dip net

2. if the light is part of a lure attached to a line used in angling

not trying to be anal on fishing regs but a simple search for "light" in the regs answers the question.

Using glow in the dark lures is not illegal ... Using a lure with a light built into it is illegal !! Which I don't understand why Walmart sells those blaze rubber minnows with the flashers in them when that are illegal to use
