Hello everyone!
Me and a few buddies are going to Nipissing (south shore) wades landing up through hunters bay area on
Oct 16th -18th.
I know Walleye are out of season but want to do some Muskie/monster Pike/bass fishing.
I'm familiar boating and fishing the area in the spring.
Wondering if it's a good time to go, know it will be cold. But is that time productive for these monsters?
Has anyone fished south shore nipissing at this time before and were you successful?
Any suggestions on areas to fish for big game? I heard around Gull rock is good. But is it worth going up there or stay in shallow areas towards south river opening/hunters bay/Wades around all those islands etc.?
We will be out on 16ft alluminums.
Any lures/bait/tactics you recomend for this time of year?
Or are we just crazy going up at this time?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John
