Fall Fun in the sun and rain

The weather has been great and we are taking full advantage of it here in Hamilton. The harbour is producing some very nice fish. These are just a few.

This hefty fish was taken on the float with a centrepin reel.

Here are a couple of my captures taken paylake style.

* I think I might just do DOWNTOWN SUNDAY.

Some Carp, Pike ... Bass and Perch could be had.

Tired of the Salmon, and still 6 more months of Chrome.

Yes and he sure was. Where do you think the steelheaders learned to use the centrepin from? Europeans have been using them for coarse fish and carp for a long time.

Nice Carp. Havent carped fish for some time, but I remember two things about them. One its like pulling up a car and second they are the worlds ugliest fish. Since you caught them in Hamilton do the carp still bit down at Cootes Paradise or did the gobys take over?

There are still carp in Cootes but you are better off fishing the harbour.
