Finally here is a report with some fish:)

Got out of work yesterday after lunch and decided to hit the grand river near Dunnville. Thought since its my first time I would be skunked again for sure and would have to switch to fishing for panfish if I would even find those. But to my surprise with a few tips from some anglers.

Might have to go again soon. So far my luck has been if I think I'm going prepared to catch fish I don't get any if I go somewhere "just to check it out" I usually don't get skunked.

Thx, can't wait to eat the eyes, I wouldn't of kept the smallies but my friend wanted them so thats fine with me, they came from 7-9ft of water, I caught 2 more but let them go Could be the drive home after the water was let out of the livewell they changed colour a bit. I'll ask how they tasted hehe.

congrats...eyes in new water is an accomplishment..bass is always fun...make sure you clean your live well out good...no invasive species or plants lurking...bet you enjoyed being out in your boat...happy for you.
