The other day I found a bamboo rod for sale on Kijiji, and managed to pick it up for a pretty cheap price. However, living in Toronto, the rod was being sold much closer to my home town, so my parents kindly picked it up, and had it waiting for me on my next trip home.

This weekend, I had to do some work in the area, and decided to spend a few days at home. I spent one evening fishing with my normal gear, completely forgetting about the new rod (video to come soon). When I arrived home, I saw the new rod sitting there, and immediately knew I’d have to try it out the next day.

Luckily, in the few hours of time I had free, I managed to hook into one rainbow, and I’m very happy with how it performed!

I can’t wait to catch more beauties on this rod!

Tight lines,

Cody

Thanks Bow Man - I'll definitely write up a review once I mess around with it a little more. All I have right now are first impressions :p
