Hey everyone!

I'm visiting my gf in Toronto, and will be trying my hand on the Humber River tomorrow morning on the fly. I'll be around Etienne Brule as well as Home Smith parks - what sort of species should I be expecting (feel free to PM rather than post)? I've been told carp? I'll be going around 6:30am, are there any specific regs that I should be aware of? I've checked the MNR and as far as I can tell, the biggest thing is no fishing 25 yards from a dam?

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Cody

Yes 25yards. There could be early browns patrolling now. I've seen pike getting caught there as well.

What setup do you use for the carp??
7ft spinning rod with 8lb line.
corn/worm on a small bait hook suspended 1-2ft below a float. a tiny split shot weight 2" above the hook to weight it down a bit
I dont use any heavy weight for the fear of getting snagged
