I got out this past week and had some luck ice fishing. Mind you I didn't really do much walking on the ice lol.

Here is the footage I shot while out there.

Nice Fish! What flies do you use for trout through the ice or is there better "baits/lures" to be using
There is an endless list of great lures and batis that you could use for trout. I have a whole tackle box for them. When one lure doesn't work, I switch to the next one. In the video, I fished with a freshwater shrimp imitation. It was working great, so I never switched. I've used tons of little hooks like you would use for perch, I've used small jig heads with corn or preserved salmon eggs on it. TO be honest I've tried just about anything that can fit in their mouths and have caught something.

My go to are always flies though. Typically shrimp or leech imitations.

Nice are those stocked trouts? Hungry buggers will eat anything. Great to cook on an open flame with seasoning.
Good job

Yep, they were stocked trout. They were great on the frying pan.
