Hi guys,
I found this site on the net by accident, I am a fishing and Tennis fanatics, do both sports all year long with supportive wife and 2 kids that never bothers me on my hobbies. Between the 2 sport, I find fishing even mentally more challenging than Tennis.
Catching fish used to be easy in Southern Ontario without having to know a lot about fishing techniques. Due to fishing pressure and changes in weather pattern, one needs to be more versatile these days and able to adapt to changes. The more reason one needs all the support he can get out of a web forum such as this one.
I have a 16 ft boat but do shore fishing on most winter months, fished both the kawarthas lakes and all the way to Niagara river, One thing I enjoy about shore fishing is the hike on creeks and rivers. I normally love to hike the whirlpool and Port D during winter months, if any of you are fit and want to hook up, let me know. I just got an inexpensive Centerpin reel(which I posted) and will be focusing on it this winter months. Normally fish with artificials.
Looking forward to getting more involved on this site.
