Fished Toronto Island today, June 08

I fished the Toronto Islands today...I am so pissed though, I forgot my camera so I had my phone cam, took some pics, and now I can`t get em off my stupid phone...it`s a samsung a920...piece of $%&^. Anyways, back to fishing...I got there at 8.15...at the grandstand, along with my brother, and 3 of his friends. First cast, and Fish on!! Wooo Pike not too big, 2 feet at most. Then nothing until we where leaving, watching the ferry come across to Ward Island to pick us up...my bro`s friend got another pike, 3 feet...his biggest fish ever. He wouldn`t touch it though, so I released him. we only fished for about 4 hrs, and a good time was had by all.

bumped into you guys after you fished the grandstand. i was one of the two asian guys haha.
we had a bunch of follows but failed to get any hook-ups.

saw a few fish just sitting and basking on top of weeds but not interested in anything we threw at them.

islands are not really going my way lately.

it's a sad feeling when you see a big pike follow your lure so close and when you pause, they actually touch it...but don't take haha.

i bumped into taro murata (not sure if any of you are familiar with him... http://www.fishcitytv.com/ ), but he told me that jigging is the best way to go now. he was with his gf, and she got a nice one this way earlier in the day. i consider this guy an expert in urban fishing... especially island/harbour pike... just go through his site.

will hafta try some jigging, I havent yet. Still lokking for a Bass to bite...I swear I will put him back toot sweet!

oh man. i am definitely not familiar with him.
he added me on facebook... and i declined the request... because i had no idea who he was and i could not view his page either...
