Hey guys,

I will be going to chinguacousy park in the evening. I came across a vid where a guy catches a catfish there.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJcN1hcvDXY

I have 2 questions... What else can I catch there other than cats, and has anyone else fished here before, and if you did, where did you cast from and what did you catch? (That's 4 questions, but whatever)

Thanks

Tyf

ching park as far as i know is for panfish. nothing bigger. like centennial park in etobicoke. a good spot for locals to kill time or for new anglers to learn casting with worm and bobber or little tubes on a hook. but i think you're becoming more advanced now since last summer so i wouldn't bother if i were you unless you happen to be nearby. there are brown bullhead in lots of local ponds so you don't need to go there just for that.

anyway, i only walked by it once and it looked like how it was described to me. pretty much a panfish lake.

though who knows, carp could be in there.

hey rhymo,

i did go on monday, and the panfish there are pretty great in size. I caught a few pregnant panfish.

I have personally caught a juvenile pike there as well bass last summer. I have also seen carp in the shallows.

They are there . They're just not the easiest to catch as I'm sure they are tons of pressure

big panfish can be fun on light tackle.
