Fishing at Duffin's creek this Friday?

Hey everyone! Does anybody know if it's allowed to fish at Duffin's creek this Friday?

Hey There I was in Gagnons Sports today and Apparently Duffins Creek is open from the 401 down to Lake Ontario as of right now. Have to wait till Sunday to go North of that. I have been trying to find some access points to go with the girlfriend and explore before we head back home on Friday. Can Anybody help, i just need a spot to park and hike in, we'll look for the spots with fish

Regulations say that all rivers in Durham area (which includes Duffin's creek) are open south of CNR. Can somebody confirm this, plz? Since it's going to be raining all weekend and Friday morning looks the only good time to fish I want to try fishing for trout in one of the rivers. I live in Toronto, don't want to go as far as Ganraska.

Like I said the Guys in Gangons Sports in Oshawa let me know that it is, but if you want ultimate verification give the MNR number in the regulations a call. They should be able to clear up and confusion

Thanks for the reply, Northern Fisherman. I'm planning to be there at dawn tomorrow.

Going to park at one of these spots in Rotary Park. Don't know if it's paid or not. Will find out on the spot.

Anyways, got a few trout baits, hoping to catch fish tomorrow and post a nice fishing report with pics.

It's free parking. they renovated the kayak launch. I fished the dock for bass. the marsh area is shallow as f... 2 feet of water all through out. the creek is gold for carp, sucker and in a week or 2...marathon. it gets crowded as well.
