Fishing Camps?

I have been searching around for a fishing camp site (preferably not a provincial park) that is about 3 hours away from Toronto towards the Kawartha lakes, Rice Lake or north towards huntsville. Most places I have found are set up with cottages, I am looking for a place where I can set up a tent and rent like an aluminum 14' boat with like a 9 or 10 HP motor.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest doing a search on crown land. Crown land may be camped on for free for up to 21 days. Find a nice peice of land with a marina close by to accomodate a boat rental.

I second this. Although, is there a site or brochure that shows good crownland camping spots? I know that there is the atlas online, but it's too general.
