Hey all,
Just resently turned on to the salmon and trout fishing off lake Ontario. I grew up in Sudbury fishing all the time and didn't think there was a lot of fishing here. Clearly I was wrong. I spent the last week in Oshawa and landed y first salmon ever. A 34 lb 32 inch giant out of Oshawa creek. Biggest fish of my life.

So now that I've been re bitten with the fishing bug and have a bunch of roe for bait I want to get back out closer to home and fish. I live in brantford and know the grand Ist much good but were would be the closest place for good fishing for salmon and trout.

Hey Fishmedic. I live in brantford as well. For salmon i go down to bronte in Oakville, Landed 4 there the other night and lost many. There are stelhead in there as well. Alot of these boys fish the credit for both, im sure they can give you some good information on where to fish. Ive yet to fish the credit myself but planning on it soon
