So fished from around 11am till 230pm, trying for walleye and ended up catching a nice size smallie and the biggest muskie that i have actually battled and landed :D .Both fish were released as they are not in season.

thanks buck, they both put up good fights, the muskie had the drag singing a few times. They hit on 5/8 white round jig, dressed with berkley power bait smelt minnow 3".

Wow, that smallie is a football! :D

One of the biggest I've seen. They're really putting on the feed bag...

Cool muskie as well, never knew they were a river fish. Did you use a net to land them?

nice fish, but walleye are not in season until the may long weekend unless you're fishing lake huron/GB or lake erie, you are poaching and can be charged if caught

walleye season is open all year where i fish in zone 19, not sure about the out of season pics if so i will remove them, the spot i was fishing has a spot close by where you can land them near the shoreline and rocks so i was able to do that.

just re read the regs going to take the photos down, need to release the fish asap even if caught accidentally, no pics next time.

Still exciting though ... take a picture boat/shore side next time to be most compliant with the regs. Any walleye?
