Ive seen many story threads on here but nothing about ghosts. Some fishermen go on wild adventures, walking through tall brush, abadoned places in search of the next honey hole.
Sometimes, they see things... super natural things.
Have you ever had anything weird happen to you while fishing?
Ill start off.
My uncle is an avid fisherman. I mean avid. like 5 days a week avid.
He is an immigrant from vietnam so he doesnt know much english - cant read maps - barely read road signs. BTW he is not a loogan, and he practices C/R except for the odd fish he keeps for dinner.
His way of discovering is through adventuring, and recognizing structures.
One day he tells me, he was off in St.Catherines. Doing some searching. He discoveres a nice large pond after walking through some tall brush. The kind of brush where the grass is taller than you, and its easy to get lost.
As hes fishing, he notices a man standing about 30 feet away from him in a clearing. He watched him pretty closely for a few seconds to see if he was MNR officer. He was wearing dark clothes and what looked like a fishing hat or tophat.
He feels a tug on his line, missed the bite, and when he looked back the guy was gone.
There was no paths except through the brush behind him, He was pretty sure he saw a ghost.
