Just curious if anyone has fished the stretch of the Grand River between Cayuga and Dunnville with any success. Have heard of some spots that produce, or would it be better to fish the mouth of the Grand at Port Maitland? Any tips, advice would be great.

Thanks in advance.

the fishing can be good along there. can also be a waste of time. patience is key and finding the rite spots. lure presentation also plays a big factor in what u will catch. expect both largies and smallies, pike, walleye, catfish, suckers and various other species.

inline spinners are deadly and cover tons of water, spoons and jigs will work also.

We were thinking of heading that way tonight, however, ran out of time :(

i wouldn't mind trying the dunnville area with the kids. something a little different
