Lots of knots to know, I mostly use the improved clinch. I just found a knot that's 94% strength of the original line. That's the highest I have ever seen and know of.

Yup very reliable and easy to tie knot. I've taught it to people once and they can do it by themselves right away. My eyes are having a hard time seeing the 4lb line. It's the only knot I use.

That Davy knot is so simple too. I'm gonna try it next time I get my fly rod out. Very nice.

Uni knot has never failed me unless a toothy critter bites through the line.

For tying lines together I prefer the Seagar knot and for tying a hook, I like the san diago jam knot.
