So I decided to put down the Xbox controller and take a stroll across the street with my girlfriend and buddy to throw some casts into the 20 feet of open water at the North Shore Parkette, located in Richmond HIll. Had my spinning wheel a good ol' fashion red float hook and a worm hoping for a nibble of a sunfish or rock bass to redeem my self pity for not landing anything in the Credit River. Although it was delightfully warm outside I guess being in denial got the best of me as there are no fish to be caught as of yet in the 3' deep water... but soon. Spot marked 1 is the North Shore Parkette. Spot 2 is the windsurfing club where there is a good 40' of open water but the docks aren't launched, a lot of people fish there for small sunfish/rockbass. Spot 3 is a fish sanctuary *no fishing, and spot 4 is a no fishing zone. For more information on the lake check out the pdf here: http://www.richmondhill.ca/documents/heritage_lake_wilcox.pdf
