Hi every one,
I am new forum member. i have suggestion about fishing line winder. i am thinking buy new fishing line winder. any body use the fishing line winder. please share your experience about fishing line winder.

Thanks

sorry typed last post on mobile.
its basically just nut and bolt thru a soda bottle cap.
so the cap itself is the tool. so down the line, you can just grab any bottle to use.

i find 20oz bottles like coke the best, with its concave hourglass shape.

ya, since we fish fw here.. mono can last pretty long on reels.
nothing much abrasive here in the waters.

but before here, all of my fishing was surf and boat.
i had to use this stripping method because i use to do alot of surf fishing on beaches.
the sand, salt, and sun would degrade mono alot faster. i can start a session with a nice clear hivis green line, then at the end, the first working end 50-100ft of line becomes opaque green.
shock leaders of 50-80lb would need to be changed every trip.
so id end up changing spools of lines almost every 3 months.

I did a similar setup with a small paint roller i had laying around. Screw in one end, held the handle and off i went with a drill.
Set the drag to pretty much nothing and away you go!

Thank every body,
