Fishing little lake tomorrow need help!

hey everyone tomorrow im planning on fishing little lake with a friend. Im fairly new to angling but do know some basics.. hes just starting out.

were aiming for pike and bass and would like to know spots on the lake where we can target them!..

also what lures and colors would be good for the water there

i have a couple xraps clown and ghost colors as well as some jointed rapalas

plastics i have some gary yamaoto watermelon red flake..

i just joined today please help me out

Which Little lake?I know of one in midland and one in Barrie. The Barrie one I know quite well.

Spinner baits(white).Also a worm or two for bass.Had great luck with a red and white crankbait, get a lot of pike with the spinner bait and crankbait.Good luck!,always have a blast there.

went out today i got skunked i had a small pike on the line then the hook popped out 2 ft from the boat.. i was using a fire tiger spinner bait.. however my friend using a chartreuse spinner landed 3 pike .. the first one had ripped of his skirt... and he still caught the other 2 without the skirt! some guy caught a nice 10 pound pike and another guy got at least an 6-8 pound large mouth! pike was fished using minnows and bass was caught on worms!.. i hate it i got skunked! ... is there any other lakes where they rent boats where the fish are more active looking for bass and pike

At least you guys got into some action!! Fishing is like that, some days the fish are on some they arent. Little lake can provide some great action from time to time, but not every day. When i lived on little i fished i almost every day throughout the summer and got some nice fish. Not sure about an 8lb+ bass, but i know there is 6's in there for sure. Ive heard 8lb bass thrown around enough, but i dont think many people realize how big an 8 pounder truely is.

Ive seen guys on the water before say "yep we got a 6lb bass"...then they pull up the stringer and its a 17"er.
