Hello all. I've been reading these forums for awhile now; great tips and general fishing information. I live in Windsor Ontario. I normally fish down off the Detroit River. Myself and some family members are interested in fishing new locations, catching different fish. Preferably pike and or walleye. We are in the process if obtaining a boat to fish off St Clair. In the mean time we we're hoping to find a fishing location(A lake preferably) maybe 2-3 hours away from Windsor that we could shore fish and have a shot at catching Pike. We are looking into rice lake and lake Simcoe for when we purchase a boat, however in the meantime traveling 5 or so hours to fish for one day is out of the question.
