Fishing port credit

Headed down to port credit today for a days fishing. Started out at 6 am getting skunked till 12 is caught a few bass then moved on to catch some carp. All and all a great day out. The carp was caught on a feeder and corn combo and the bass on worms.

Just something I noticed. There was large schools of what seemed like whitefish right on shore by the rocks didn't touch a single bait thrown their way. Do these fish come here to spawn?

Nice catch.. I didn't think ther were any fish in there till the salmon and trout move in... How big were the whitefish? They could be Alewives, or Gizzard shad, which would explain why they didn't hit any bait, since they're filter feeders.
