Fishing Report???

Hi i made a fishing report a few days back but its not in the fishing report section, does someone have to approve it?

can't you post it in the "your first fishing report!" section?
if not, contact the admin or one of the moderators.

hey landsowne, same situation with me, posted one in the first fishing report section and it hasn't showed up, guess the mods just haven't gotten around to checkin it yet

You will only get access to the section the post goes in. Making a report and posting about it doesn't give you access to all the sections.

Hi everyone.
Sorry for the delays in reports....Openfire has been extremely busy with his personal endevours, but does drop in as much as he can.

Some reports have been evaluated and are good to go. Some ..not so much. To be fair to the contributing members there is a criteria that must be followed. Maps,pics,ect are to be included.
Some very good reports with all the info needed, and some good ones that just needed that little more info. If you were denied access, check you email for details that were omitted.

Soft water season is upon us and I expect this to be a very busy place.
Thanks for all your reports,valuable information, and general entertainment,.... and remember, we all benefit from it!

Be safe, pay attention to the regs in your area, and FISH ON!

in some cases, if you've never fished a body of water and have no idea what is working and what is not you would try to get info for that particular area through the report. how now can you send a report for that area in question if you have never fished it but plan to .

If you have a tackle box, usually it will have an assortment of lures to try..put the effort in and "wash" a few to see if there is any takers. If you want immediate results..throw a worm under a slip bobber. If there is anything in the body of water your float will do down without question.

The reports do not have to show a catch either. But a map of where you were, time,weather conditions,water quality, all contribute to a good report.

Remember, this mainly about discovering new waters,,and if one is reported to be not fishable..then it saves the next guy time in trying the same pond...Thus a sucessful report dont ya think?? :mrgreen:

If you would like to access the fishing reports sections, you must first submit your own report in the forum entitled "Your First Fishing Report". Your first report must contain pictures and a map or it will not be approved. If you followed the above, your report would have been approved and moved to the appropriate reports section. You would have been given access to the report section that your report was moved to. If it was not approved, you should have been notified, or the report was simply moved to the general discussion area.

Your report was moved to the GTA reports section and you do have access to GTA reports. If you're having any difficulty accessing the GTA reports, let me know.

That's strange... You only have 1 post - but it's showing that you have access to the SW Ontario reports section. Please let me know which report you're talking about. I'm not sure how it's even possible if you only have one post, but you definitely do have access to the SW Ontario reports section!?

I did notice that someone submitted a Quebec report to the first reports section... we don't currently have a Quebec Reports section, so that may be why your report was not moved into the reports section. I believe that it was moved into the general discussion area.
