Yes the pic looks like the pine(the public cons area) from the west side pass the little crossing bridge. All the good rapalas r above $10!....

"I guess this is a crappy year to start from scratch eh?"
If u never start u'll never finish.

Funny story here, some chick at work wanted to get her BF a tackle box full of gear she asked what do u think 60-80 bux u can fill it for me hahahahaahah I said get him something for his truck instead.

I didn't want to say 60 wont buy u frig all in the big pix.

Hehe, I went to Lebaron last nite, before my membership expires(feb 09), $109 later everything fit in a bag, I'm like wow all those things add up, so far I'm at $354(3 year license, lures from bps, Gulp alive & tackle from lebaron) and haven't even fished yet. Plus still want to get stuff at the show next week, + grand river season/boat pass. Best to not think about it......

What show? only one i know of is in march, lol.

That is true, cause you'll always be buying new things, lol. link 354$ is bad, i need a new rod, reel, tackle box, allllllllllll tackle, vest, n than prob chest waiters, lol. i guess im not buying my gf a ring for out 1 year in June...HAHA

HAHA! I don't even need new gear and I am looking at $300 for new baitcast setup. I want one of them nifty inflatable PFDs ($80 for manual inflate, $180 for auto inflate). I want a big tackle bag $70. Then lures and other miscellaneous items... Another expensive year of fishing...

But we all do it anyways.

"inflatable PFDs" anyone use them I want one too. I frigin never put the life jacket on it's more like a cochin for the seat hahah.

I figure I might actually wear one of them.

Auto inflatable pfds look cool, maybe they will have them for a cheaper price at one of the shows...gotta put that on the list now!!!! come on guys don't give me any ideas... I'm tempted on taking a pic of all the tackle I have to stop me from buying more.

I'm in the same boat as ya Yawn! I wear the life jacket when the boat is running, but take it off when the motor is off. I find it hot, uncomfortabe and restrictive. What I am hoping is that the inflatable PFDs deal with all of those issues. Additionally, I may find myself fishing solo from time to time, and have a life jacket on during those times is super important.
Bigfisherman, I too am hoping for some sort of deal at one of the upcoming shows.
I am also hoping that someone will be selling Carrot Stix there. I have been waiting and waiting for them and have not held the one I want in person. I have held a carrot stix, just not the power and size I wanted to feel. I can't bring myself to buy a rod online if I have not felt the rod before.

I do save some money by making my own inline spinners though lol. Not a lot mind you...

Thats a very good point especially with all the rocky shoreline in the GTA done the balancing dance on the rocks a few times!

frig i am going to be buying alot of stuff this year for my tackle box, i need polerized sunglasses, some trout flies, some pike lures, hipwaders, a scale and a lot of other stuff, i'm going to have to get a summer job if i want to get all this, and a summer job means giving up valuable fishing time
