Fishing This Weekend?

Anyone getting out this weekend? If so, where are you going and what are you targeting?

I myself will be up at the cottage again this weekend and will be targeting walleye and crappie. :mrgreen:

That is weather permitting though. Friday looks good but Saturday and Sunday or calling for rain yet again. That may throw the fishing plans out the window. :?

I am not sure about the weekend, but I will probabaly be out on Wednesday and Thursday this week at the Island...and going after Pike, weather permitting and cash flow as well!! LOL! Good luck wherever you try!

Hoping to head out to the island on the weekend depending on the weather. I have not fished the island before witch is very sad since I live 25 min away. Is there anyone who can help me out with some good locations I should try. P.S will be fishing from a boat and may have room for another person if anyone is interested. Went out to Cook's Bay on Sun but the water was way to chopy for my liking so paked up the boat and drove to the bluff's and fished around the marina for awhile. Caught 3 small pike in the few hours that I was there. :mrgreen:

well, i have a couple possibilities, i'm either going to the cottage in bala for some walleye and maybe pike(i'm not sure if pike are open yet there) and if i can't make it up there, i'll try out my new fishing rod on some nice brookies in the nearby creek, oh yeah, there is also panfish at wilcox for me :mrgreen:

I'm planning to go to Rice lake again this coming weekend, which ever day is better. I got skunked last Saturday but only fished for 3hrs. Really want to catch some walleye this year!

Will be hopefully going for crappie somewhere in the kawarthas probably. Not sure where, because the spring spawning spots seemed to be void of any fish already.

probably gonna take the canoe and go in search of some walleye and crappie at scugog. did okay yesterday night from shore, so it can only get better on the water away from shore!
