Fishing tomorrow, suggestions?

Hey guys,

Just came back from two day vacation to tobermory and collingwood, and i can honestly say it was fun. i was looking forward to fishing there but couldn't due to iced over waters. So my dad said that we could go somewhere tomorrow. Anybody know where i can go for some nice crappie or bluegill max 1 hour from mississauga?

Would have to agree, lots of crappie down there. Could rent an aluminum too, would increase your chances a lot!

do u guys think i could take my inflatable row boat there. also, could i fish at ken whillans tomorrow, while its closed. while coming back, i saw a guy on the dock fishing. i couldnt stop because we were driving.

I'm pretty sure they allow anything as long as it doesn't have a gas motor but give them a call and make sure, doesn't hurt.

Island Lake still has some ice towards the center (as of yesterday) but I don't know that they would allow any boats just yet. As far as I know, you can't fish Ken Whillans if it is closed (because I'm pretty sure it would be classed as trespassing).
