Fishing trip to the cottage

Im headed up to my cottage this weekend to do some hard water fishing, our main focus is going to be on the skootamatta. We also plan on trying sheldrake lake and then we also plan on adventuring to another couple smaller lakes for some splake or brooks. Anyone have any experience on these lakes? tips? advice? thanks

Wow sounds like fun. Haven’t fished the area personally but just a word of caution be very careful on small lakes . Some have natural springs and because of the water movement the ice in immediate area can be iffy. Be careful and spud every step. Let us know how you did, good luck.
