Hi All

I'm looking into booking a Fly In Fishing Trip somewhere in Northern Ontario or Quebec. If anyone can recommend a good resort it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Berns

Although I haven't been there for a number of years, Lakeland Airways always treated us well. They fly out of Temagami to I believe something like 400 different lakes so you can take your pick of fish spieces. We used to go after pike and bass mainly. I think they have outpost cabins on some lakes, but we used to fly to lakes where we camped out with our own gear which saves on the dollars. The lakes are very nice up there and you don't really see anyone unless you pick a lake that is on 1 of the canoe routes that are all through Lady Evelynn Prov. Park. One lake I remember by name is Sir Devon where I caught a 7 lb smallie. They usually drop you on an island where you can camp and do fly bys every few days. I know they were still there up to last Sept. as I saw their planes on Lake Temagami when we drove through there last year.

what kind of prices are we talking about for something like that? do you just shore fish or do they have boats where they drop you off?

You would have to check about the prices, as I said it's a number of years since I fished with them. It was pretty reasonable because we camped with our own gear. We basically payed for our flight, the further the lake you chose the more it costs. And yes there are boats or canoes which are also part of the price.
